The short version. Mindset never sees which apps you use: Apple's Screen Time keeps that on your phone. Your voice never leaves your phone either: "Say it" runs entirely on-device and nothing is recorded. We store your account, your answers, your phrases and your rep history so your streak follows you. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps.
Mindset is operated by TRADETECH LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company registered to do business in Utah ("Mindset," "we," "us"). For any privacy question or request, email privacy@mindsetapp.us.
You sign in with Apple. Apple gives us a unique account identifier and, if you choose to share it, an email address (which may be a private relay address Apple creates for you). We never see your Apple ID password.
The version of our Terms and Privacy Policy you agreed to, when you agreed (recorded by our server), and your confirmation that you are 13 or older.
Your first name, the descriptions you pick (for example "Entrepreneur" or "Athlete"), the areas you want to grow in, what gets in your way, the voice you prefer, your optional "I am becoming…" statement, how you like to unlock, your difficulty and phrase-length settings, and how you heard about us. We use these to choose your phrases.
Any affirmations you write yourself.
Each time you complete, switch, or skip a rep we record the type of rep, the outcome, the time, and the app version. This powers your streak and stats.
If something fails inside the app, it sends us a short error report (what failed, the error message, and the app version) so we can fix it. Error reports are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We receive your subscription's status (for example active, renewed, or expired, and its expiry date) through Apple and our subscription provider RevenueCat. We never receive your payment card or billing details.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, use it for advertising, use the advertising identifier, or include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Only service providers that help us run Mindset, under contracts that limit their use of your data:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of any person, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this Policy continues to apply to your information).
We keep your account information until you delete your account. Error reports are deleted after 30 days. When you delete your account, your profile, answers, phrases, rep history, subscription record and error reports are erased from our database immediately. Copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia and other U.S. states, the EU/EEA and the UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information and to opt out of certain processing. We honor these requests for everyone. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them, and we respond within the time the law requires (generally 30 to 45 days). EU/UK residents: we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the app) and for our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Data is encrypted in transit. Our database enforces strict per-user access rules, so each account can only ever reach its own data, and our team's access is limited and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
Mindset is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email privacy@mindsetapp.us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this Policy, we will ask you to review and agree to them in the app before they apply to you. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. Because we never sell or share it, there is nothing to opt out of; we treat browser Global Privacy Control signals as such a request anyway.
